Bob and Marge McDonagh (AKA Old Coot & Maggie) had a partnership of love and respect for over 60 years. As a registered nurse for many years, Maggie had a passion for women and children. Bob just wanted to make a difference in the lives of people who were struggling. Together, they started the Old Coot & Maggie Foundation as a response to the pain, hardship, and needs they saw throughout the world.

Beyond helping others, Old Coot and Maggie had a desire to send out ripples where someone who is helped turns around and supports the next person in need the best way they can. Marge and Bob believed in the human spirit and never needed to see the outcomes of their generosity, they just trusted in the idea of ripples.

Although Bob and Marge are no longer with us, they live on in the lives of people who continue to be impacted by their generosity and the resulting ripples.
